You have a great job and feel like you budget pretty well, but you still find yourself in need of a little more cash every month. Here are just some of the many, many ways that you can bring in a little extra spending money.
For a little extra spending money, try selling your gently used clothing, shoes, electronics, and belongings. If you are receiving a large refund at tax time, this means you are overpaying. Try adjusting your tax withholdings so you pay less in taxes throughout the year. So instead of receiving a lump sum sometime in May, it will carry throughout the year.
Companies want to know what their consumers want. This means you can get paid for sharing your opinions. Just as a word of caution, legitimate companies will not require you to pay to give your opinions or wire money to them. Remember, if something feels off, trust your gut. Check out sites like SwagBucks, Opinion Outpost, or iPoll to get started.
Apps like Uber, Lyft, and Sidecar have grown in popularity the last few years. You could also try some good old fashioned carpooling. While this won’t make you cash, per se, the savings you have on gas money can be put towards something else.
